Easy Oats Dosa | Instant Dosa Recipe




Ingredients

Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Oats -1 cup
Onion -2
Green chili -3
Urad dal - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 10 Nos

Method

Dry grind the Oats and make a coarse powder.

Mix wheat flour and oats. Make a batter out of them with enough water. Keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.

Chop the onions and green chilies.

Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal and mustard seeds. Allow it to splutter.

Add curry leaves, onion, chilies, and curry leaves. Saute for 3 minutes.

Mix the above mixture into the batter.

Pour a spoonful of batter onto a hot griddle (dosa tawa) and cook both the sides well with little oil.

Serve hot with chutney or sambar.

Oats Rava Dosa

Ingredients 

Wheat Flour - 1/2 Cup

Semolina (Rava) - 1/2 Cup

Oats - 1/4 cup

Onion (chopped) - 1

Green chilies(chopped) - 2

Curry leaves - 2 Stalks

Oil - 2 teaspoons

Salt to taste

Method:-

Mix flour, semolina and oats in a bowl.

Add enough water and make a thin batter.

Keep aside for 15 minutes.

Heat 2 spoons of oil in a pan.

Add mustard and urad dal and allow it to splutter.

Add curry leaves, onions, and green chilies one by one and saute for 2 minutes.

Add this mixture to the batter and adjust salt.

Heat a dosa tawa, and pour a ladle full of batter in it.

Sprinkle little oil on it.

Cook both sides and serve hot with chutney or sambar.

Wheat rava Pongal

Healthy broken wheat pongal recipe...

Ingredients:-

Wheat rava- 3/4 cup

Moong Dal - 1/4 Cup

Black Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp

Ginger (grated) 1 Tsp

Onion- 1

Tomato -1

Green chilies -2

Chili powder -1/4 teaspoon

Turmeric powder - one pinch

Curry leaves- 2 stalks

Oil- 3 teaspoons

Cashew- 5 Nos

Water -2 Cups

Salt to taste

Method:-

Heat oil in a pressure cooker.

Add pepper, cumin and cashew nuts , and fry for a minute.

Then add ginger, onion, green chillies and curry leaves one by one.

Add chili and turmeric powders.

Sauté for 2 minutes, and add 2 cups of water.

Allow it to boil and add the washed wheat rava, dal mix and adjust salt.

Close the lid and pressure cook up to 5 to 8 minutes. (2 Whistles)

Tasty, spicy rava pongal ready.

Paruppu Thuvaiyal | Toor dal Chutney | Thuvaram Paruppu Thuvaiyal


Traditional thuvaram paruppu / toor dal chutney recipe...

Ingredients
:-

Tuvar dal / Toor dal - 1/2 cup

Dry chilli - 3 to 4 nos

Garlic - 1 clove

Tamarind - Pea-sized 

Grated coconut - 1/2 cup

salt to taste.

Method:-

Dry roast the dal and chilies.

Grind them with salt, coconut, tamarind, garlic, and adequate water.

Serve with rice or idli dosa.

Lemon Mint Juice




Ingredients :-

lemon -1

mint leaves - 6

honey - 4 tbsp

and a pinch of salt.

Method :-

Add crushed mint leaves with the juice of one lemon.

Mix 4 tablespoon honey and a pinch of salt.

Filter the juice and serve.

Ragi adai

Ragi is the most recommended diet food for diabetic patients.

Make this tasty food and enjoy it.

Ingredients:-

Ragi (red millet) powder - 1 cup

Chopped onion -1

Chopped green chili - 2

Chopped coriander leaves - 1 teaspoon

Chopped curry leaves - 1 teaspoon

salt to taste

Method:-

Mix ragi flour, onion, green chilies, curry leaves, Coriander leaves, and salt in a bowl.

Add water and make a smooth dough.

Divide it into lemon sized balls.

Place a non-stick tawa on the stove and keep one ball in it.

Make it to a round shape with your fingers.

Pour little oil and turn over, allow it to cook little more time.

Remove from the tawa and serve hot with mint chutney.

Healthy, ragi adai is ready!

Chukku Kaappi

Ingredients :-

Palm jaggery (karupatti) - 100 grams

Chukku powder (dried ginger) - 1 teaspoon

Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Cardamam- 1

Water - 3 cups

Method:-

Pour water in a pan and add karupatti and boil.


Mix well to dissolve.

Add crushed cardamam, pepper and chukku powder in it.

Allow it to boil for two more minutes.

Remove it from the flame and, filter it.


Add milk if needed.

Refreshing natural health drink is ready.

It helps us to get rid of cough and cold.
