Diet Paruppu thuvaiyal (Toor dal chutney)

Tuvar dal - 1/2 cup

dry chilli - 6 nos

garlic - 1 clove

tamarind - small piece

salt to taste.

Method :-

Dry roast the dal and chillies.

Grind them with salt, tamarind,garlic and adequate water.

Serve with rice and sambar or curd rice.

If you are not in diet , you can add 1/4 cup coconut also.
