Wheat Payasam (Godhumai Payasam)


Wheat Rava -1 cup
moong dal - 1/2 cup
sugar - 1 1/4 cup
coconut milk - 1 cup
cashew nuts - 15
cardamom powder -1/2 teaspoon
ghee - 2 teaspoons

Wash rava and dal and presure cook until 3 whistles.

Fry chashew nuts in ghee and keep aside.

Open the cooker and add sugar in the mixture and cook on slow flame.

Add one glass of water and allow it to boil.

Add coconut milk,cardamom powder and cook for another 3 minutes.

Garnish with fried cashew  nuts and serve hot or cold.
