Jeera Rice (Cumin fried rice)

Ingredients :-

Basmathi rice - 1 cup

cumin seed (jeera) - 1/2 tea spoon

yogurt- 1/2 cup

oil - 2 table spoons

Salt to taste

Method :-
Heat oil in a pressure cooker.

Add the cumin seeds and when it starts to splutter, add the washed rice and saute for a minute.

Pour 1 1/2 cups water and yogurt.

Mix well and add adequate salt in it.

Cover the lid and pressure cook for ten minutes.

Serve with any kurma and raitha.
